The Computer Department was established in 1998 with Diploma in Computer Application (DCA). It was further expended so as to include B.Sc. (Computer Applications) in 1998 and BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) in 1999. The Department is presently conducting two full time Bachelor degree courses e.g. Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) with two sections and one section B.Sc. (Computer Application) as vocational course. The department has a highly competent, qualified, experienced and dedicated full-time Faculty. The department has excellent academic environment and is considered as one of the most prestigious Computer Academy in Northern India. The department is committed to provide higher education in the field of computer. It proposes to start some other postgraduate Diplomas and Degrees in near future. The department has started few PG courses like MBA (Tel. Com.) from Annamalai University and MBA (Insurance), MBA (BPO) from Karnataka State Open University through Distance Education. The department has prestigious academic results in University Examinations. Several students have secured positions in University. There is alumni of meritorious students. The department is equipped with latest model P-IV Core Duo with multimedia facilities. The department has separate well equipped three laboratories for B.Sc. (Computer Application), BCA & BBA. All computers in each lab are connected with Wi-Fi technology. There is also a hardware and networking lab. The department also provides internet facility through VSAT/BSNL Broadband for all the students & Faculty members for their class work and teaching activities. The department also performs various Computer related administrative assignments for College and solicits training and consultancy assignments from outside. It imparts practical experience to the student while executing such projects on computers. Projects to the students of BCA VI semester are allotted keeping in view the business or other activities in which the student's family is engaged so that students can prepare a live project to which they are well conversant.
