Department of Sociology was established in Year 1971 and covers an area of 9.3 sq.m.(Staff Room). The Department offers different programs like B.A., M.A. Numbers of Students pursuing B.A. is Three Hundred Seventy One, M.A is Fifty One. There are Three Faculty members including two SFC Faculty, one member have Ph.D Degree in the department.
Library and Research Lab in the department provides additional features to its Infrastructure. On the basis of syllabus decided by University. HOD deserves a mention for efficient utilisation of grants provided by Principal on the basis of norms and requirements of departments.
