Department of Zoology was established in Year 1957 and covers an area of 753.76 sq.m. The Department offers different programs like B.Sc, M.Sc. Numbers of Students pursuing B.Sc is Five Hundered, M.Sc is Sixty. There are Seven Faculty members, Five members having Ph.D Degree in the department.
Library and Research Lab in the department provides additional features to its Infrastructure. In Last Five Years, Thirty Research papers are published and Eight Students Obtain Ph.D Degree.The Faculty members provide excellent teaching and assessment. on the basis of syllabus decided by University. HOD deserves a mention for efficient utilisation of grants provided by Principal on the basis of norms and requirements of departments.
