Department of Mathematics was established in 1950 and covers an area of 16.74 sq.m. The Department offers different programs like B.Sc(Maths), M.Sc(Maths) and Ph.D(Maths). Number of candidates persuing Ph.D(Maths) in 2010-11 are Eleven(Seven Students under Supervision of Dr. RKS and Four Students under Supervision of Dr. NS). There are Six Faculty members in the department with three having Ph.D(Maths) Degree
Library and Research Lab in the department provides additional features to its Infrastructure. In last Five Years the department holds a credit for Twenty Research Papers which were published in National/International Journals and Seven Students has obtained Ph.D Degree. The Faculty members provide excellent teaching and assessment. on the basis of syllabus decided by University. HOD deserves a mention for efficient utilisation of grants provided by Principal on the basis of norms and requirements of departments.
