 The Department of English was established in 1971 as one of the subjects for undergraduate classes. In 2005,it started Post Graduate courses under Self-Financed Scheme.The Department has a separate audio-visual room with wi-fi facility and a good collection of movies based on literary works. The students are exposed to the best classic movies twice a week.In order to develop aesthetic and human values along with the creative faculty, the students are encouraged to participate in the literary events and meetings of Heritage club. The Department also conducts classes for spoken English and Personality Development.The Faculty members provide excellent teaching and assessment. on the basis of syllabus decided by University.Contact No. 0131-2622667
